KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian stock market ended higher here on Tuesday.
The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,531.28, up 19.92 points or 1.32 percent, and the Emas was at 10,979.20, up 106.72 points or 0.98 percent.
There were 648 gainers, 480 losers and 374 counters traded unchanged.
Turnover decreased to 8.85 billion shares valued at 5.45 billion ringgit Malaysia (1.32 billion U.S. dollars), compared with 9.57 billion shares valued at 6.46 billion ringgit Malaysia (1.55 billion U.S. dollars) on Monday.
