Houston Texans

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been tough on small businesses across the world.
The Texans have three main goals as an organization: win championships, create memorable experiences and do great things for our community. With that third goal in mind, the Texans and Amegy Bank are promoting and assisting the small businesses that make the Houston community so great.
The Texans took nominations from fans, and awarded four Small Business Boosts. Each winner gets $5,000 to support their immediate business needs, some free promotional assets from the Texans, an inclusion in the Texans 'Local Business Playbook', and an invitation to exclusive Amegy Bank Business Webinars and Events.
Dining as a family is supposed to be an enjoyable experience. But often, that's not the case.
A West University restaurant has always aimed to make dining out easy, fun and delicious for adults and children.
Little Matt's began in early November of 2009, and offers a family friendly environment where kids can play and eat sweets while their parents can eat a delicious meal.
With a diverse menu featuring everything from burgers, sandwiches, salads and Tex-Mex, Little Matt's also puts the first drink on the house for adults ordering an entree.
The genesis of Little Matt's came about as a way to provide a fun respite for families dealing with illness. The owners' son Bobby was once a patient off-and-on at Texas Children's Hospital over the course of seven years. In memory of Bobby, the restaurant was started up to serve the community, and a portion of the profits are donated to TCH.
During the pandemic, the entire staff has remained employed, and nobody missed a single shift. This happened even though the restaurant has lost money every month since the COVID-19 outbreak.
The prize money will be donated to Texas Children's Hospital.
