Vikarabad (Telangana) [India], March 30 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday addressed a district-level reparatory meeting of 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan' at his residence in Kodangal.
Speaking at the event, Reddy said, 'Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke in an insulting manner against Dr BR Ambedkar in the Parliament. His comments are in support of those who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi. Social transformation took place in the country under the influence of the Indian Constitution written by Dr BR Ambedkar. People see Ambedkar as an invisible god. Every village worships Ambedkar by installing a statue of the architect of the Constitution.'
'Holding meetings everywhere to lodge protests against inappropriate comments made against such a great leader and display the spirit of Ambedkar. People gave me this strength as the Chief Minister,' he added.
'The opposition leaders were restless after power was transferred to Kodangal from Siddipet, Gajwel, and Sircilla. This is why the opposition hatched a conspiracy to destroy Kodangal. I am conducting visits to safeguard State interests. Our workers will fence Kodangal and protect the constituency. The CM's chair will be for Kodangal for ten years. Let us develop Kodangal significantly in 10 years,' the CM said.
'The opposition is trying to provoke some people here and stopping land acquisition by creating a stir. It is my responsibility to provide two jobs to the families of those who lost their lands in the establishment of companies in Kodangal. In our region, people are migrating due to a lack of industrial development. This region will develop only by establishing industries. My wish is to provide jobs to your family and see happiness in your eyes. My strong wish is to develop Kodangal with abundant facilities by investing Rs 10,000 crore in the next five years,' the CM said.
He discussed the opposition, saying they are trying to provoke some people in Kodangal and stop land acquisition by creating a stir.
Reddy said, 'No one is more important to me than the Kodangal people. Your affection towards me is enough. Some forces who collect money on diesel are obstructing Kodangal's development. We all will endure if development is stopped. Development must take place to increase land prices by Rs 1 crore in Kodangal. The people of Kodangal will not tolerate anyone who obstructs the development of the assembly constituency.' (ANI)
